Sandwiched with cream in between, dotted with chocolate chips, crumbled and mixed with ice cream, there seems to be countless ways to enjoy this sweet, mouth-watering delicacy. Today it comes in all sorts of colors, which make them look appealing to our taste buds. Story books usually accompany cookies with grandmothers’ love while baking them and it just give cookies the tag of love when it is given as a gift.

The great thing about cookies is the fact that it is so easy to eat. You don’t necessarily need anything to go with it, unless you’re a little on the picky side and eating plain seems like a sin. The good thing is that being picky is not a problem with it since you can have it with whip cream, hot chocolate, milk, or ice cream. You can have it warm or hot fresh and straight from the oven, or even after a few days old.

Personalized cookies can now be given away as gifts no matter the occasion, or even if you are simply visiting a loved one. These edibles as a matter of fact has found its way into the decorative category, being suggested as a Christmas tree ornament for people who loved to bake but wouldn’t want to put on extra weight by eating it during the festive season.

There are of course some bad sides about cookies; it isn’t really the perfect for weight watchers, due to the fact that it packs a lot of calories. But then again nothing over moderation is ever good, so as long as you know how to keep control, cookies would be great.
